The aim is to support professionals in interpreting current and future dynamics in structured finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Structured Finance and Securitization Challenges<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>What is Structured Finance?<strong> Structured finance<\/strong> plays a fundamental role in the modern <a href=\"https:\/\/jeme.it\/en\/services\/financial-analysis\/\"><strong>financial landscape<\/strong><\/a>, providing advanced mechanisms for <strong>optimizing<\/strong> <strong>risk<\/strong> <strong>management<\/strong> and <strong>accessing<\/strong> <strong>new<\/strong> <strong>sources<\/strong> <strong>of liquidity<\/strong>. Securitization transactions are tools for <strong>transforming credits <\/strong>and other assets into <strong>negotiable<\/strong> <strong>securities<\/strong>, enabling effective <strong>diversification<\/strong> and significant improvements in financial liquidity. However, these transactions are subject to <strong>regulatory<\/strong> <strong>challenges<\/strong> and <strong>operational<\/strong> <strong>risks<\/strong>, requiring rigorous and detailed analysis to fully understand their economic and regulatory implications, the structural dynamics of the <strong>securitization<\/strong> process, and the use of dedicated corporate vehicles (<strong>SPVs<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>JEME\u2019s Contribution<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The analysis was based on detailed research of secondary sources, ensuring a thorough and documented work. A team of four operational resources, under the direction of a project manager, developed the document in Italian, organizing it into distinct sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>The first part provides a <strong>historical overview of structured finance. It then examines<\/strong> the <strong>main types of transactions<\/strong>, such as <strong>leveraged buy-outs<\/strong> (<strong>LBO<\/strong>), different structured finance products, and <strong>project finance<\/strong>, before focusing in-depth on <strong>securitization<\/strong>. The parties involved, the structure of the transactions, and the applicable regulations are illustrated.<\/li><li>A <strong>case study of a recent securitization transaction<\/strong> was presented, applying the analyzed theories within a real and operational context.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>JEME\u2019s Impact<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/jeme.it\/en\/press\/blog\/\"><strong>White Paper<\/strong><\/a> developed by JEME contributed to an extensive analysis based on concrete data, significantly contributing to the existing literature on the subject.
