Operating in <strong>over 120 countries<\/strong> with a revenue of \u20ac6.7 billion, Hilti has established a strong global presence. In Italy, the company supports professionals across various sectors, including construction, engineering, and infrastructure. HILTI is renowned for its cutting-edge solutions, exceptional customer service, and commitment to sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Initial situation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>objective<\/strong> of the project was to <strong>provide<\/strong> the Client with <strong>recommendations<\/strong> on how to<strong> improve<\/strong> their<strong> HR strategy<\/strong>, particularly the \u201c<strong>Young Talent Program<\/strong>\u201d graduate recruitment initiative, which had been facing challenges in <strong>attracting<\/strong><strong> enough candidates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Client asked JEME to examine the <strong>evolution of the Italian job market<\/strong> for a specific target group \u2014 <strong>young graduates<\/strong> in economics and engineering with good English and Italian skills, a driver\u2019s license, and work experience. In particular, <meta charset=\"utf-8\">Hilti requested <strong>special attention<\/strong> to be given to the <strong>mobility aspect<\/strong>, as they have faced significant challenges in finding candidates willing to relocate since the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to this, the Client asked to design a new <strong>HR strategy<\/strong> tailored to the needs and expectations of the target audience of their <strong>graduate program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main reasons Hilti chose to work with JEME on this project is that its members are <strong>part of their target audience<\/strong> and are therefore able to <strong>provide<\/strong> direct and applicable <strong>insights<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JEME\u2019s Contribution<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Team utilised both <strong>primary and secondary sources<\/strong> to ensure a comprehensive and well-documented Italian job <a href=\"https:\/\/jeme.it\/en\/services\/market-analysis\/\">market analysis<\/a>.&nbsp; Eight JEME consultants developed the project through <strong>four main phases<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. The <strong>preliminary analysis<\/strong> focused on understanding the main <strong>issues<\/strong> of the recruitment program and the factors hindering its success. In this phase, JEME understood the characteristics of <meta charset=\"utf-8\">Hilti&#8217;s \u201cYoung Talent Program\u201d to comprehend how to move ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. The initial phase of the <strong>offer analysis<\/strong> was done on secondary sources and involved creating <strong>five case studies<\/strong> of <strong>successful graduate recruitment programs<\/strong> of comparable companies and designing <strong>matrices<\/strong> in order to visualize <meta charset=\"utf-8\">Hilti&#8217;s current standing in the market. The primary criteria that were taken into account were that these companies are multinational organizations with HR programs similar to <meta charset=\"utf-8\">Hilti&#8217;s, aimed at professionals with characteristics comparable to those the Client was seeking. After that, the Team turned to primary sources by <strong>interviewing selected HR personnel<\/strong> to gain deeper insights into the graduate programs offered. Both case studies and interviews allowed JEME to <strong>gain an insight<\/strong> of these types of programs and identify their <strong>strengths and weaknesses<\/strong>. This analysis enabled JEME to identify the qualities as well as the areas of improvement of the Client\u2019s offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. In the <strong>demand analysis<\/strong>, the team created a <strong>questionnaire<\/strong> targeted at economics and engineering <strong>students,<\/strong> which was subsequently distributed to a diverse group of more than 120 people from 10 Italian universities, including Universit\u00e0 Bocconi, Universit\u00e0 di Bologna, Universit\u00e0 Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino. The collected data were analysed to identify <strong>trends and key insights<\/strong>, which were then compared with the findings from the offer analysis to initiate the structuring of the HR strategy in the following phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Finally, JEME played a key role in <strong>developing an <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jeme.it\/en\/services\/strategic-positioning-analysis-on-the-market\/\"><strong>HR strategy<\/strong><\/a> based on the insights gathered from prior analyses. This phase was structured around three main steps: identifying a <strong>customer persona<\/strong>, defining the <strong>program structure<\/strong>, and realising a <strong>product promotion strategy<\/strong>. The Team went beyond simply evaluating the program by also considering potential <strong>benefits<\/strong> and <strong>candidate management<\/strong>\u2014areas highlighted as crucial by the trends in our research. Additionally, it became evident that clear and detailed communication is vital to the program\u2019s success. Therefore, the Team focused on crafting a <strong>communication plan<\/strong> to effectively convey the program\u2019s characteristics and benefits, ensuring it appeals to the <strong>target audience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JEME\u2019s Impact<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Team conducted <strong>tailored research<\/strong> to meet the Client&#8217;s needs, providing them with the necessary tools to <strong>develop <\/strong>an<strong> effective recruitment strategy<\/strong> and make their graduate program attractive to the target audience. This marked JEME\u2019s <strong>second collaboration<\/strong> with <meta charset=\"utf-8\">Hilti&#8217;s, building on the success of the previous partnership.
