Training from a professional point of view, professional experience through consulting projects paid for by real customers, a gradual assumption of responsibility and autonomy in the management of projects, unthinkable in other work contexts.
In addition to consultancy projects, we are simultaneously working in 6 internal areas:
The Sales Area of JEME deals with cultivating relationships with customers, managing existing relationships and creating new ones. This is where the consulting projects that are commissioned to the association are born, designed according to the specific needs of the client. The associates of the Sales Area therefore undertake a 360 ° training experience, developing interpersonal and problem solving skills, essential for a successful career.
The Marketing & Communication Area deals, on the one hand, with promotional strategies aimed at increasing the reputation of the JEME. Some typical activities of the Area are the management of social media and communication channels, as well as the the creation of digital and physical campaigns and contents aimed at specific stakeholders, website management (SEO and SEM) and much more.
The Audit Area deals with the review of JEME’s internal processes, with the aim of controlling their quality (also caring about ISO 9001 Certification) and their innovation. The Audit Area is also responsible for monitoring the progress of internal activities through the control of KPIs, and supporting the work of the associates at every level.
The Area manages all the IT tools used in JEME, in order to make processes more efficient. Some examples of IT activities are the correct implementation of softwares and digital tools necessary within the association.
The Organization and Development Area has the fundamental task of controlling the well-being and satisfaction of the members of the Association, through an organization of works that guarantees an equitable distribution of workloads, and also thanks to the promotion of activities of team building. In addition, the Area is responsible for maintaining relations with potential employers of the members of JEME
JEME’s legal area is a bridge to the world of corporate law. On the one hand, it takes care of relations with external legal stakeholders, dealing with the drafting of out-of-court legal opinions for start-ups and SMEs and papers in collaboration with various professional firms; on the other hand, it performs the typical functions of the “in-house” lawyer of a company, dealing with the drafting of contracts and the management of technical-legal issues internal to the association.
JEME Capital is the newest Area of our Association, which will manage a real-money portfolio. Inspired by Student Investment Funds in the US, the Area aims to emulate the dynamics of real investment funds with an educational purpose. Members will have the opportunity to put the theory into practice by doing equity research and selecting suitable investments, learning more about finance and investing as well as gaining insights and networking opportunities with industry professionals.
How to join JEME
JEME has two recruitment sessions over the course of the year: one in the fall and one in the spring. To apply, candidates send in their CVs and are then invited to participate in a Business Case. Candidates who pass the Business Case are called to the Motivational Interview, in which they are interviewed by JEME Associates to assess their motivation and capabilities. Applicants who pass this stage are invited to join JEME on a probationary period of 3 months, after which the final decision regarding their membership will be made.
